Itinerary

After pick-up at your hotel or cruise ship, we will pass through the city of Port of Spain to get to Laventille road, where we would see a number of historical landmarks including the birthplace of Makandal Daaga, leader of the 1970 Black Power Revolution, the original birthplace of Desperadoes: before going higher up the hill for which they are originally known., then to Churruca’s Observatory, Fatima Shrine and the panoramic Fort Picton, where we would have a 20-minute break for a once in a lifetime photo session and light refreshments. We Then head down Picton Road, passing Straker village, one of the oldest in Laventille overlooking one of the main “blue limestone” quarries. Next is the birthplace of Winston “Spree” Simon, pioneer and innovator of the steelpan, next, “Horse Trough”, St. Matthias Church, and the Lady Young Look out concludes this amazing tour before heading back to pic-up point.
