Overview
This workshop is designed for people wanting to learn the basics of playing the Steel pan in a fun filled environment. Each session is for a duration of 2 hours, in this time we will cover the basics of proper posture, holding of sticks/mallets and striking and rolling the instrument. Within ten minutes you will be ready to start playing! We will then learn a simple melody or nursery rhyme.

Our steelpan workshop gives you the opportunity to get a solid foundation in playing this novel instrument. The techniques used, coupled with the unique and interactive style of delivering will assist the beginner to explore the steelpan on their own.
